Connecting to Data Sources

Connecting to Data Sources

Available integrations

Database

If you’re connecting a database, you can choose to give Internal ready/write access or read-only access. In addition to controlling access at the database level, you can use the granular roles and permissions that Internal provides to restrict access.

HTTP

The HTTP data source provides a flexible way to add any data or action to your internal tools.

  • Connect your company's API via HTTP
  • Connect any business application that makes their APIs available via HTTP
  • GraphQL

Business app

When you hook up any of these business applications to Internal, you'll instantly unlock powerful capabilities to incorporate their data and actions into your internal tools.

Note: To connect with Internal, your data source must be publicly accessible, with SSL encryption enabled, and configured to accept connections from Internal’s IP addresses.
