Security

Note: Only users with the Admin role will be able to access the admin controls, including Company Settings with Security controls.

Two-Step Verification

You can enable two-step verification, which will require employees to use an authenticator app when signing into Internal. It’s recommended to use Google Authenticator, but you can also use Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, or Duo Mobile.

Note: You must enable two-step verification on your own admin account before requiring it for the whole organization.

Single Sign-On

Internal supports Single Sign-On (SSO) through Google. Enabling this will require all employees to sign-on through SSO.

Shared Secret

This is used to sign requests we make to external HTTP services (ex: using an HTTP function) and allows you to verify that incoming requests are coming from Internal. Need help with this? Contact us.
